Acceptance

Accepting others is a big key factor in life.  There may have moments in which we judged a person by merely their appearance and did not take the chance to get to know them as individuals.  What happens when you do so?  You never know what that person is really about and you might have a lot more in common than you think.  Have you ever heard of the phrase "Never Judge A Book By Its Cover"?  This phrase applies to us every single day! Whether it be a person, an object or even food.  We must learn to first take the time to learn about something/someone before we can fully say we do not agree/like it.  Take Lady Gaga for example.  Lady Gaga is known for her outrageous clothing and behavior, however she is so popular in the music industry.

Although she may be OUT there she still manages to attract people towards her music.  She is in a sense untouchable with the amount of awards she's received for her music. If her music was never given the opportunity to be heard everyone would just look at her and think she was another crazy person.  However, she has a marvelous talent in her music and has become an innovative musical artist.  We should all accept others regardless of how they may appear.  Who knows, maybe that person that looks like a worthless person to you may be the next top executive.  So before you judge someone on appearance really take the time to get to know them and their beliefs.  You might be surprised.
